These simple earrings are just a memory for myself from the beach of Hue. I found these pieces of mother-of-pearl from the beach and decided that I make earrings out of them when I get back home. Now I finally managed to do that.

Nämä simppelit korvikset ovat muisto Huen rannalta. Löysin nuo helmiäispalat rantahiekasta ja päätin tehdä niistä korvikset itselleni kun palaan takaisin Suomeen. Nyt vihdoin ja viimein tein ne. Nuo simpukat ovat muuten samalta rannalta. *huoh*

Shrink Plastic Experiments

En yleensä tykkää muovista korumateriaalina, mutta kutistemuovi onkin ihan oma juttunsa. Se on tosi helppo ja hauska materiaali ja siitä saa tehtyä niin paljon kaikenlaista. Sen lisäksi tämän käyttämäni kutistemuovin toinen puoli on mattapintainen, joten se näyttää vielä kivemmalta kuin kiiltävä puoli. Nämä ekat kutistemuovikorut tein itselleni.


I don't usually like plastic as a material for jewellery but 'shrink plastic' is a case of its own. It's so easy and fun and the things you can do with it... Plus the other side of this particular shrink plastic is matt, so it looks even nicer than the shiny side. These first experiments I made for myself.
